Description
Set of diamond core bits M14 BIHUI TURBO-6 with diameters 25/35/40/45/50/68 mm (DBDMS6)
Diamond core bits BIHUI Turbo are designed for drilling any type of ceramic tiles, especially porcelain stoneware, as well as other cladding materials such as marble and granite. In the production of BIHUI diamond core bits, vacuum brazing technology of diamond particles to the drilling zone is used, which increases resistance to high temperatures and friction and significantly increases the lifespan of core bits. Diamond core bits are used for dry drilling and are attached directly to angle grinders with M14 thread or to a drill using an adapter. The maximum drilling speed with diamond core bits is about 14000 rpm. BIHUI core bits are manufactured using VJS (Vacuum fluid sintering) technology, which ensures the placement of diamonds close to each other throughout the entire volume of the diamond-bearing layer. Thanks to this, BIHUI drills at the highest speed and has a long lifespan.
VJS (Vacuum fluid sintering) technology provides diamond grain adhesion to the metal bond comparable to brazing. In essence, the grains are fused to each other by a nano-layer of metal. Diamond grains cannot fall out of the metal bond until they break themselves. Each diamond grain is fused tightly to at least three (up to nine) neighboring and lower grains. In addition, the height of the diamond-bearing layer is tens and hundreds of times greater than the diameter of the diamond grain. There are tens and hundreds of these layers in the diamond-bearing layer. Once the top layer of diamonds is worn out, the next one is exposed. Thanks to this, BIHUI has the highest lifespan.
Lifespan of Bihui Turbo core bits:
The average lifecycle of BIHUI core bits varies depending on their diameter.
-
For core bits from Ø 6 to 12 mm, the average lifecycle is 25 holes.
-
For BIHUI core bits from Ø 20 to 75 mm, this resource is 50 holes.
The average lifespan ALWAYS depends on the type of material being drilled, its thickness, and the correctness of drilling and cooling of the core bit. The drilling depth with BIHUI core bits is 36 mm.
Inside core bits with Ø 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm, there is cooling wax. During the use of core bits, the wax melts and improves its cooling and removal of drilled slurry. After all the wax is melted, the core bit can still be operated. Only complete wear of the diamond indicates the end of the core bit's lifecycle.
Advantages of Bihui Turbo core bits:
-
High drilling speed;
-
Suitable for both dry and wet drilling of ceramic materials, gres, porcelain stoneware;
-
Operating speed 10000-14000 rpm. M14 connection. Core bits are designed for use with angle grinders;
-
Compensation slots in the drill body prevent bending of the body during heating and improve the removal of slurry from the cutting zone;
-
Brazed height 10mm;
-
Large lifespan due to vacuum brazing and high quality of diamonds;
-
Low price.
Recommendations for working with a vacuum type core bit:
To achieve a better drilling result and reach an optimal service life of the core bit, it is necessary to choose the optimal drilling speed, as well as perform gentle circular movements with the core bit during drilling. Core bits do not require water cooling, since they are cooled by air, the flow of which is created by the angle grinder at high speeds (10000-14000 rpm), and they can be operated at maximum speeds with any materials. Small diameter core bits overheat quickly, so it is better to drill many holes with a pause. If you want to extend the service life of these core bits, porcelain stoneware needs to be drilled at maximum speeds and with additional wax or cooling water; this will extend the service life.
Features of drilling with Bihui core bits:
Water supply is not required (however, additional cooling with water or cooling wax increases the lifecycle of the diamond drill bit), they are cooled by the air flow created by the angle grinder at high speeds.
Drilling is performed in a non-impact manner.
It is necessary to start drilling with the help of a template, or at an angle of 45 degrees to avoid the drill slipping from the surface of the processed material, gradually, performing circular movements, transfer the drill into a perpendicular position relative to the drilling plane.
IMPORTANT: drilling without water cooling or special cooling wax shortens the life of your diamond drill bit (diamond core bit) by more than 2 times, and in case of overheating, the "glazing" effect occurs, the drill bit may completely stop drilling. If this happens, it is necessary to "open" or "sharpen" the drill bit using a soft abrasive material (an abrasive grinding stone, asphalt, or the best option would be a firebrick).
Remember! The quantity and quality of holes drilled with these core bits will depend on how correctly you use the diamond core bits.
