TAJIMA G-LOCK tape measure series is a classic shockproof tool designed for heavy-duty operation on construction sites. The tape measure is equipped with a durable metal core to which the spring is rigidly fixed, serving as a reliable mechanism for blade extraction and retraction. The tool case is made of reinforced plastic and additionally placed in an elastomer sleeve, which provides better vibration and shock absorption properties. The areas of the tape measure most susceptible to damage when dropped are protected by a thicker layer of rubber.

The measuring blade in these tape measures can always be easily extracted to its full stated length, and even with a small margin, which protects the spring mechanism from accidental breakage. The blade is made of high-quality flexible steel covered with multiple paint coatings. The entire marking scale is extremely clear and readable, and it is applied on both sides for more convenient use. Externally, the blade is coated with a matte nylon layer with an anti-glare effect, providing better wear resistance and excellent visibility when reading measurements.

A metal holder with two powerful magnets is attached to the end of the blade with four rivets in an asymmetrical arrangement — this fixation method provides the greatest accuracy during measurements and protects the blade from damage and destruction at the connection points.

Additionally, the tape measures are equipped with a steel clip for attachment to a belt or pocket and a durable strap for hanging on the wrist during work.
