Diamond polishing pad Distar CoolPAD #2 for engraver 50x3x7mm
Grinding porcelain stoneware on low-power equipment – a difficult task. CoolPAD polishing discs are specially created for dry grinding of porcelain stoneware on engravers. The composition of the diamond-bearing layer ensures a stably high processing speed and excellent surface quality.
The discs allow grinding close to the glazed surface without fear of damaging the edge. The layer profile in the form of an "involute" effectively removes slurry from the grinding zone.
Thanks to specially prepared diamonds, one disc number replaces three polishers of different grit. For example, No. 1 replaces grits 30, 60, 120; No. 2 – 120, 200, 400; No. 3 – 400, 800, 1000.
Before the first use, the working surface of the disc must be sharpened with an abrasive material.
